Nao Takada is a geneticist and attorney. She holds a Ph.D. in Genetics & Development from Columbia University and an LL.M. from NYU School of Law, and is admitted to practice in New York and Texas. After years at the laboratory bench and in the IP and litigation groups of leading firms, she built an independent practice at the intersection of science and law — advising litigation teams on matters where complex science decides the legal outcome. She is the author of “Genetic Susceptibility and the Duty to Warn.”
